Spring Service for Fall River Drivers

It might not feel like it right now, but it's spring, and the weather should warm up any minute now. Changing seasons means that there it's time for maintenance; you want to make sure your car is ready for the warmer weather. Here are just a few things you can do to make sure that you're prepared:

  • Switch out of winter tires: Winter tires are great when it's chilly out. They're designed to give extra grip in colder conditions. They're not so good when it's warm, and driving with winter tires during the spring or summer will cause them to wear down much faster.
  • Wash your vehicle: Salt and sand are essential for winter driving, but they also can corrode your vehicle. When the salt and sand are finally off the road, make sure to wash them off your car as well.
  • Change your oil: You should change your oil roughly every six months anyway; you might as well take care of it with all your other maintenance.

Those are just a few of the things you can do to make sure your car is ready for the spring. Schedule an appointment with our service center today, and we'll make sure that your vehicle is all set.
